Account Recovery Service

Case review / official routes / your own account

An account recovery service that tells you when you do not need one

Account Recovery Service reviews your hacked, disabled or locked account, picks the official route and prepares the evidence and appeal wording. You still verify your identity and confirm every filing. Platform recovery tools are free, nobody outside a platform can override its decision and we never ask for passwords or codes.

What does an account recovery service do?

An account recovery service sells judgment and paperwork. It does not sell access. Account Recovery Service reads what happened to your account, works out which kind of lockout or decision you are facing, picks the official route and prepares what that route asks for: the evidence list, the timeline and the appeal wording. You file it yourself, or we prepare the filing and you confirm it.

Weigh that honestly. The recovery tools the platforms offer are free. No outside party can override a platform's decision, and that includes us. What you pay for is someone who reads the notice closely, stops you filing on the wrong form and drafts wording that answers the stated reason. If you came for disabled account appeal help, most of the work is that drafting and evidence.

This is a social media account recovery service for people locked out of their own profiles, channels, pages and ad accounts on Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube and Google, Telegram, WhatsApp, Snapchat, LinkedIn and Discord. Case guides will sit in the recovery case library and the case notes as they are published.

What happens at each stage of a case?

There are four stages. You can stop at any of them and finish on your own.

  1. Intake

You send the platform, the account link or username, what happened and any notice you received. No password and no code, at this stage or any other.

  2. Case review

Account Recovery Service checks whether the account can be shown to be yours, what the notice says and which routes remain open. You get the route, your part of the work, a price and a timeframe. If the free tool is enough, the case ends there.

  3. Filing

We prepare the evidence and the appeal wording for that route. You log in, complete any identity check and submit, or you approve the filing we prepared. Every login and every code stays on your device.

  4. Platform response

The platform decides. We read its reply with you and prepare the next official step if one exists. If no route remains, we say so and stop.

Which kind of case do you have?

Each ticket shows the symptom, what to try first and what a review needs from you.

Five common case types with the first check for each

  • Hacked account

    Symptom
Password or email changed, or posts you did not write
    First check
Find any security email about the change, then open recovery from the platform's help center, never from a link in a message
    What we need from you
Account link, rough date, the email or phone that was on the account
  • Disabled or suspended

    Symptom
A notice that the account is disabled, suspended or restricted
    First check
Read the notice for the stated reason and any appeal button or deadline
    What we need from you
Screenshot of the notice, any earlier appeal and its reply
  • Lost phone or 2FA

    Symptom
The password works but the code step does not
    First check
Search for saved backup codes, then look for a device still signed in
    What we need from you
Which method was set up, which devices remain signed in, whether the number is still yours
  • Forgotten email

    Symptom
The reset goes to an address you cannot identify or reach
    First check
Search old mailboxes for platform emails and try each address and number you have used
    What we need from you
Profile link, old addresses and numbers, proof that the profile is you
  • Business page or ad account

    Symptom
Admin removed, page lost or ad account restricted
    First check
Check who else holds an admin role and whether the real problem is your personal login
    What we need from you
Your role, business documents that match the page, any notices

What do you still do yourself?

Hiring help does not move the account out of your hands. LinkedIn sends identity checks through its vendor Persona, which can ask for a government ID and sometimes a photo of you. No service can stand in for you there. On X, the appeal form expects you to be signed in to the suspended account. Here is the split.

When do you not need a paid service at all?

Check these before you contact anyone, us included.

  • The reset still reaches you

If the reset email or text arrives, use it. Then change the password, sign out other sessions and check the recovery details. If a device is still signed in, keep it signed in and do the same from there.

  • A Google account and a familiar device

Google's recovery tips ask you to use a device, browser and place where you normally sign in and to give your best guess instead of skipping questions. Wrong guesses will not end the process, and a failed attempt can be retried.

  • LinkedIn is asking for ID

That flow is LinkedIn's own and needs no go-between. School and library cards are not accepted. Members in Canada, the EU and the UK can use a notarized Affidavit of Identity instead.

  • Your Telegram number is still yours

Telegram's FAQ says the phone number is the only way it identifies a user. If the SIM is in your hand, start with the normal login in the app.

  • Discord with no backup codes

Discord says that without backup codes it is unable to remove multi-factor authentication or issue new codes. Try SMS if you set it up. If you did not, paying someone does not change that answer.

When does it make sense to hire someone to recover an account?

Account recovery services earn their fee when the free tool has been tried and the next step is not obvious:

  • The standard tool has failed and you do not know why.
  • The notice gives a reason that does not match what happened.
  • The compromise reaches your email as well, so the order of steps matters.
  • A business page or ad account is involved, with several admins and records to line up.
  • A "recovery expert" has contacted you and you want a second opinion before you pay anyone.

What should you do before you contact anyone?

These steps cost nothing and protect the evidence in any hacked account recovery, with or without us.

  • Secure the mailbox first. The UK's National Cyber Security Centre says to check email filters and forwarding rules, since attackers use them to collect reset emails.
  • Reach the provider's help pages by typing the address yourself, not through a link someone sent.
  • Save the notice, the security emails and the dates as screenshots.

What can no outside service do?

No one outside a platform can reverse a suspension, restore a deleted account or switch off a verification step. Account Recovery Service has no inside contact, no staff access and no direct line to any platform. Every route we prepare is a form or flow already open to you.

That also means no guarantee. The platform decides, and a good file can still be refused. This site shows no success rate, because a service's figure tells you nothing about your case.

Does the law give you anything to work with?

In the EU, yes. Article 20 of the Digital Services Act requires online platforms to run an internal complaint system for at least six months after a decision, including a decision to suspend or terminate an account. Article 21 lets you take the dispute to a certified out-of-court body, although that body cannot impose a binding result on the platform. Outside the EU, the platform's terms and local law set the limits.

What does Account Recovery Service refuse to do?

We work only on accounts you can show are yours, and that is the first thing we ask about. We decline all of these, whatever the story behind them:

  • Getting into the account of an ex, a partner, a rival or a staff member
  • The account of someone who has died, outside the legal route the platform sets
  • Account takeover of any kind
  • Password cracking, session theft or intercepting codes
  • Buying, selling or transferring accounts against platform terms
  • Getting a banned user back on through a new account
  • False statements or altered documents in an appeal

How do you spot a recovery scam?

Post about a lost account and "recovery experts" tend to appear in the comments and DMs. Treat every one of them as hostile, including anyone using our name. The signs:

  • They ask for a password, 2FA code, backup code or session cookie. Google states that it "never asks for your password or verification codes" by email, phone or message, and an honest helper has no use for them either.
  • They promise a guaranteed result or claim someone inside the platform.
  • They contacted you first.
  • They want a retainer or processing fee before they have looked at anything. The FTC describes this pattern in recovery scams aimed at people who have already lost money, and advises checking any organization with contact details you found yourself.

Hold us to the same test. We do not write to you first, we never ask for login details and we quote only after reading the case. If you lost money, tell your bank and report it: ReportFraud.ftc.gov in the US, Report Fraud in the UK.

What changes how long a case takes?

You get a timeframe for our part after the review. The platform's answer time is not ours to promise.

  • The platform's own review queue, which nobody outside controls
  • Whether the email and phone on the account are still yours
  • How much evidence exists and how quickly you can collect it
  • Whether an earlier appeal was filed and what it said

What do people ask before they send a case?

What is an account recovery service?

It is outside help with the official recovery process. Account Recovery Service reviews the case, picks the route, prepares evidence and appeal wording and guides you through filing. It cannot change a platform's decision, and the platform's own tools remain free.

Do I need an account recovery service if the platform's tools are free?

Try the free tool first. If a reset reaches you or an in-app flow is open, you do not need us. A review is worth considering when that tool has failed, when the notice is unclear or when a business asset is involved.

Will you ask for my password or 2FA code?

No, never, at any stage. That covers passwords, 2FA codes, backup codes and session cookies. If anyone claiming to be Account Recovery Service asks for one, it is not us, so stop replying.

Can you guarantee I get my account back?

No. The platform decides, and nobody outside it can override that. Be careful with any account recovery specialist who promises a result, because no outsider controls the outcome.

Do you have a contact inside Meta, Google or X?

No. We have no inside contact, no staff access and no direct line to any platform. Treat anyone selling a private channel as a warning sign.

Can you get me into someone else's account?

No. We work only on accounts you can show are yours. Requests about the account of an ex, a partner, a rival or a staff member are declined, and account takeover is refused outright.

How much does it cost and how long does it take?

There is no price list, because the work depends on the case. After the review you get a price and a timeframe for our part. The platform's response time is outside anyone's control.

Account Recovery Service is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorized by any platform named here; those names only describe the cases it reviews.
